Welcome to the 18th Annual Commander SAAZ Interplanetary Homebrew Blastoff! Have your beer judged by Rocket Scientists! The Commander Wants You!<\/p>\n
We will debut this year’s commemorative beer at the Commander SAAZ awards ceremony. This year we brewed 20 gallons of a Rye Double IPA called “Hop-Dump”. We’d like to extend a special thanks to those members that helped brew this beer.<\/p>\n
The entry window opens on August 5th, but slams shut on September 5th<\/sup>. Depending on the number of entries we will be doing at least one weekend of early round judging, and we will need your help! Sorting will take place on September 8-9 at 10:00am and Early round judging will be held the weekends of September 15-16, and 22-23 at Brock’s Homebrew<\/a> in West Melbourne, Florida beginning at 10:00am.<\/p>\n Final judging, will be held the weekend of September 28th and 29th starting at 8am each day at The International Palms Resort<\/a>.<\/p>\n As in years past, we will have heavy, heavy\u00a0snacks and a Commander’s Call event Friday evening beginning at 7:00pm.\u00a0 This event will feature some of the finest food and tastiest libations from the South’s best breweries.\u00a0 We are currently finalizing the line up, but this is an event you do not want to miss.\u00a0 Buy your tickets now, space is limited.<\/p>\n To purchase tickets – [SOLD OUT<\/span>]<\/p>\n Final judging, the Splashdown Party and awards ceremony will be held the at the same location as last year in Cocoa Beach at the International Palms Resort.<\/p>\n 1300 North Atlantic Avenue Toll Free: 1-800-206-2747<\/a> You can book your rooms now for the discounted rate of 79.99 a night using the code \u201cSAAZ\u201d.<\/p>\n Winners receive not only intergalactic recognition but the coveted Commander SAAZ Medal and a fabulous prize from one of our generous sponsors.
