SAAZ Intraclub Brew Challenge<\/h1>\n

SAAZ quarterly Intraclub Brew Challenges continue for 2016. We would like to encourage more brewing in the club and provide more feedback to our brewers. Each quarter the club will announce the challenge ingredient\/style and requirements.<\/h3>\n

RULES:<\/h3>\n

1) Must be a current SAAZ Member with 2016\u00a0Dues paid.<\/h3>\n

2) Sign-up for the challenge at a meeting – General or Officer. The supplies for each challenge are limited and to keep things fair for all we will not accept sign-ups at any other time.<\/h3>\n

3) Must pick up special ingredient at a SAAZ Meeting (General or Officer), we will not make special arrangements to deliver items.<\/h3>\n

4) Bring 6 – 12 oz bottles or a 64 oz growler of your beer to the designated meeting for judging.<\/h3>\n

5) SAAZ will provide a prize for the winner of the challenge. We also encourage you to enter into upcoming homebrew competitions to win even more!<\/h3>\n

6)\u00a0If you fail to participate in a challenge it will affect your ability to partake in future challenges.<\/h3>\n

CHALLENGE #2\u00a0–\u00a0BEAN ME UP SCOTTY\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

In January we gave\u00a0brewers 4oz of coffee from Indian River Coffee to use creatively their\u00a0next brew. There are no restrictions, just feature\u00a0the coffee in your beer. Entries will be judged at the Spring Party in March.\u00a0HAPPY BREWING and GOOD LUCK!<\/h3>\n

Space Coast Craft Beer Fest\u00a0\"SCCBF\"<\/a><\/h1>\n

Help our Platinum sponsor and good friends at The Broken Barrel Tavern with the Space Coast Craft Beer Festival. Kevin and Rebecca need our help to pour beer and dispense our beer knowledge. We will also be manning the SAAZ\u00a0Tent to distribute our own delicious homebrew,\u00a0recruit new members and promote the Bottoms Up Beer Run.<\/p>\n

Volunteers should arrive by 11am. Wear a SAAZ shirt if you have one. Volunteer shirts from beer fest are available on a first come, first serve, size available basis. So get there early if you want one!<\/p>\n

We will have a final briefing and be ready to serve at 12:30pm<\/p>\n

Volunteers will be given the chance to walk around and sample beers (in moderation) on breaks. Also lunch is provided by TBBT.<\/p>\n

Event ends at 5pm, you will need to stay and help clean up as well. Plan to be there until 6pm.<\/p>\n

If you can only come for part of the day, that is ok, just let us know what times so we can pair you up appropriately.<\/p>\n
