\"Hops-Hanging\"<\/a>What does SAAZ mean?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Saaz is a noble hop from the Czech Republic used in Bohemian Pilsners like Pilsner Urquell.\u00a0SAAZ is also short for the S<\/strong>pacecoast A<\/strong>ssociates for the A<\/strong>dvancement of Z<\/strong>ymurgy.\u00a0 What\u2019s Zymurgy?\u00a0 It\u2019s the scientific study of fermentation.\u00a0 And that\u2019s what we do!<\/span><\/p>\n

Club Purpose<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We encourage and help new members in the art of homebrewing to further our mission of educating and promoting homebrewing and craft beers. We have members who make beer, wine and mead (honey wine) and are happy to share their knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

History<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The SAAZ Homebrew Club was established in Brevard County Florida in 1992 as an<\/span>\u00a0AHA registered<\/u><\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0(American Homebrewers Association) club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Club Membership<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Annual membership is $20 for an individual and $30 for a family.\u00a0Lifetime memberships are also available. You can pay at the next meeting or<\/span>\u00a0online<\/u><\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n
