Things that just happened:
Craft Brew and Hullabaloo in Sebastian was so much fun. Thank you to all who volunteered, SAAZ was well represented and it was a really great event!!!
Christmas Party at Casa Bessette was a great celebration of the holiday season!!! Thank you to the Bessettes for the fabulous food, fun and hospitality!!!

It has been decided that an events committee will be assembled to help with the planning of our event calendar year, this committee will meet early in the year to set up the years events and our VP or communications officer will share the events at our board meetings. If you wish to be on the events committee there will be a sign up at the January meeting or you can email Claire at ccaruana81@gmail.com.
On that note, PAY YOUR DUES FOR 2026 !!! Dues allow us to continue to organize these fun events and support the local craft brew and home brew community. Things that are about to happen:
1/18 2pm January membership meeting at the Dirty Oar, we will be discussing logistics for brewers bash, sign-up to donate kegs/volunteer at bash, sign-up for events committee and there will be an education topic with our education chair Ed Worme !!! First beer is on the Oar for paid members!!!! See you all there!!!
2/6 7pm Brewers Bash Party at the Dirty Oar!!!! Brewers will be attending and drinking. If you will be brewing for the bash and attending this party please sign up at the January meeting
2/7 1-5 pm Cocoa Village Brewers Bash !!!! This is always an amazing event, tickets to attend are still available on eventbrite!!! VIP pouring starts at noon for those with VIP tickets!! If you wish to help the Dirty Oar with event set up please sign up at our meeting!!! SAAZ will have two tents set up at this event. If you have a beer you wish to donate/pour at the event you may also sign up at the January meeting.
2/13 6pm is our TENTATIVE date and time for a Beer Release Party at Bugnutty!!! Anita and AJ Brewed their Bottoms Up Beer Run (BUBR) beer!!! Every year at BUBR a silent auction is held for a brew day with Bugnutty and this release party is the culmination of that effort!!! Mon Cheri is a chocolate cherry imperial stout and we will all get to enjoy the first sips of it at this release party. There was a second winner of this prize so stay tuned for a second release date later this year.
2/24 1-4pm Science on Tap (VIP starts at noon), Loch Haven Park in Orlando. This is a great science and beer related beer fest that SAAZ pours at each year. This year we have brewed an American Wheat Beer with varying ingredients to compare and contrast the effects of time on malt and varying hops on flavor.
