Get in on the Mead Day buzz!

Join SAAZ Members Paula Gregg Sup and Ronald Sup as they make 4 different meads. Of course they will be using World Famous Webb’s Honey!

Bring your own meads to share samples and join the fun. World of Beer – Viera also has a great selection of commercial meads to try and will run specials on mead during the event.

Prejudging will take place on July 12, 13, 19, and 20. Prejudging will be at a klub member’s residence. If you are interested in pre-judging (and we hope you are!), email FCCjudge@thecask.org with your availability and we will let you know the exact times and location. You are welcome to join CASK’s monthly meeting on July 12 at Seven Bridges Grille and Brewery if you can make it for pre-judging that day.

Final judging will take place on July 25 and 26 at the same location as the past two years, Four Points by Sheraton on Baymeadows. FCC Hotel Info

Judging will take place 10-5 on Friday, and 9-finish on Saturday. Please register as a judge or steward using this link Judge Registration

For out-of-town judges able to judge on Friday, we invite you to sign up for the ever-popular Friday evening pub crawl. This year’s crawl will be better than ever with new stops and some special treats. Sign up early – CASK members must wait until closer to the competition, but the bus will sell out! The link for the pub crawl will be available after you sign up to judge. And don’t forget to sign up for the Saturday awards banquet! Banquet Ticket

Have you ever wanted to read up on how to make different styles of beer? Or perhaps you would like to see different techniques for brewing. If so, the SAAZ Library may have what you are looking for!! You can view the entire list of publications here. If you see something that interests you, simply send an email to the librarian with your name and the publication title, and the Librarian will bring it to the next monthly member meeting.
